Additional casting is set for Donmar Warehouse’s upcoming presentation of Sweet Charity. As previously announced, Anne-Marie Duff (Heisenberg) will take on the title role of Charity Hope Valentine, with Arthur Darvill (Once) as Oscar in the Josie Rourke-helmed production, which will mark her final show as artistic director at the London theatre.
Joining the company are Lizzy Connolly (The Twilight Zone) as Nickie, Stephen Kennedy (Donmar’s The Vote) as Herman, Debbie Kurup (Girl From the North Country) as Helene, Martin Marquez (Donmar’s Fool for Love and Front Page) as Vittorio Vidal, Amy Ellen Richardson (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying) as Ursula March, and Daniel Steers (Bat Out of Hell) as Carmen.
The ensemble will include Lauren Drew, Jo Eaton-Kent, Will Haswell, Charlotte Jaconelli, Ryan Reid, and Shaq Taylor.
Performances of the musical from Cy Coleman, Neil Simon, and Dorothy Fields will run April 6 through June 8; opening night is set for April 17.
