Founded in 2003, NYCCHP is dedicated to bringing the joys of the holidays to children living in New York City shelters. In it’s 16 years, the all-volunteer organization has brought children to shows like The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Aladdin, and more.

King Kong, the new musical based on the 1933 Hollywood classic, opened at the Broadway Theatre November 8, starring Christiani Pitts, Eric William Morris, Erik Lochtefeld, and the show’s titular 20-foot-high, 2,000-pound silverback gorilla.
