The London production of Mike Bartlett's Cock, currently starring Olivier winner Jonathan Bailey and Joel Harper-Jackson, is playing the Ambassadors Theatre through June 4.
Harper-Jackson, previously the understudy for Taron Egerton, stepped into his role when Egerton announced his departure. Said director Marianne Elliott in a social media post at the time, "Joel is an absolute hero. He is a brilliant and gifted actor and stepped into the role at extremely short notice. Audiences have been standing and cheering, and so am I."
Cock also stars Jade Anouka and Phil Daniels. The understudies are Dominic Holmes, Jessica Whitehurst, and John Vernon.
Cock is the story of a gay man who becomes embroiled in confusion when he falls in love with a woman on his commute through London.
The production also has designs by Merle Hensel, lighting design by Paule Constable, sound design by Ian Dickinson, music by Femi Temowo, movement direction by Annie-Lunette Deakin-Foster, casting by Charlotte Sutton, vocal coaching by Hazel Holder, and assistant direction by Chloe Christian.
Cock is produced by Elliott & Harper Productions.
