Roberts comes to Broadway after playing the role at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto. She takes over from Lauren Molina, who played her final performance Aug. 1. Roberts was last seen on Broadway in How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

The musical comedy Rock of Ages borrows rock hits of the 1980s to tell the story of showbiz lovers in L.A. The score includes "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "I Wanna Know What Love Is," "Here I Go Again," "Don't Stop Believin'" and more.

Rock of Ages is written by Chris D'Arienzo, directed by Kristin Hanggi and choreographed by Kelly Devine.

Also featured in the cast are Constantine Maroulis, Emily Padgett, James Carpinello, Adam Dannheisser, Mitchell Jarvis, Michele Mais, Paul Schoeffler, Derek St. Pierre, Jenifer Foote, Ericka Hunter, Michael Minarik, Julie Nelson, Justin Matthew Sargent, Matthew Stocke, Sarrah Strimel, Becca Tobin, Andre Ward, Katie Webber and Jeremy Woodard.
