The tickets will be available on a first come, first-served basis while supplies last. There is a limit of two tickets per customer.
Additionally, fans who purchase tickets at the box office February 25 will be eligible to receive a Real Women Have Curves poster signed by Grammy-winning composer Joy Huerta, and a gift card from Not Your Daughter’s Jeans, available while supplies last. Attendees will also be treated to live musical entertainment and complimentary breakfast burritos from Los Tacos No 1.
Real Women Have Curves will officially open April 27. Starring newcomer Tatianna Córdoba as ambitious high school senior Ana Garcia, the project is being helmed by Sergio Trujillo, who's directing and choreographing. The musical is adapted from Josefina López's 1993 play, which also had a 2002 film version. With a score by Huerta and Benjamin Velez and a book by Lisa Loomer with Nell Benjamin, the work follows a first-generation child of Mexican immigrants torn between joining the family garment business or embarking on her own dream of attending college in NYC.
