Stage to Page Rare Cast Albums and Elegies CD on "Radio Playbill," July 21-27 You think you’ve got a big collection of cast albums? The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts has thousands, plus videotapes of virtually all Broadway shows for the last four decades, plus… well, "Radio Playbill" lets curators Kevin Winkler and and Herb Scher tell you what treasures they’ve pulled out of the archives for this summer’s exhibit, titled simply "Original Cast Albums," and play some rarely heard cuts. CD of the Week the original cast album of the new William Finn musical, Elegies. Plus, you can test your knowledge in the weekly Playbill Quiz.

"Radio Playbill," a weekly news and entertainment magazine show of theatrical interviews, features and music, is broadcast multiple times each week on Sirius Satellite Radio's A&E, Stream 137.

A new 30-minute show debuts each Monday, with rebroadcasts throughout the following two weeks. Here is the schedule (all times are Eastern): New show Monday July 21 at 1 PM, Wednesday July 23 at 6 PM, Friday July 25 at 5 AM, Saturday July 26 at 7 AM, and Sunday July 27 at 4:30 PM. Rebroadcasts continue following the ensuing week’s shows: Monday July 28 at 1:30 PM, Wednesday July 30 at 6:30 PM, Friday Aug. 1 at 5:30 AM, Saturday Aug. 2 at 7:30 AM.

All the excitement and glamour of the American theatre scene comes across in "Radio Playbill," the first radio project from the creators of Broadway's distinctive programs, and Playbill On-Line, the home of theatre on the internet.
