Jinkx Monsoon is the drag persona of Jerrick Hoffer. Hoffer was crowned the winner of Season Five of "RuPaul's Drag Race." In 2013, Hoffer starred as Hedwig in a production of Hedwig and the Angry Inchat Seattle's Moore Theatre. Hoffer also appeared as Angel in the 5th Avenue Theatre production of Rent and as Velma Von Tussle in the 5th Avenue Theatre concert performance of Hairspray.
Alan Cumming is best known for his portrayal of the Emcee in Cabaret, which he revived in Roundabout Theatre Company's 2014 production. Cumming won a Tony for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical for his performance as the Emcee in 1998. He has also appeared in Threepenny Opera opposite Cyndi Lauper and in Macbeth.
