Produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares, the performances were held on May 30 at 7 PM and 9 PM in Whyte Hall's Brandon Fradd Theater. Directed by Michael Lee Scott, Broadway Bares Fire Island featured the Bares dancers performing on a runway jutting into the audience. The show was followed by Bares' famous "rotation," where the performers freestyle dance for donations.
Broadway Bares turns 25 this year and will welcome back to the director’s chair its Tony Award-winning creator and executive producer, Jerry Mitchell.
The 2015 edition will fill NYC's Hammerstein Ballroom June 21 at 9:30 PM and midnight. Tickets can be purchased online at broadwaycares.org.
