Perhaps Bette Midler is thinking of joining Kathleen Turner and Tovah Feldshuh, by playing actress Tallulah Bankhead herself? The Divine Miss M visited Feldshuh at Tallulah Hallelujah! Dec. 22. The musical play has the legendary Bankhead "vamping for five" for the audience at a USO fundraiser while headliner Ella Fitzgerald is delayed. Tallulah shares stories of her life and sings songs of Noel Coward, Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer and Meredith Willson, among others.
