She succeeds Christina Sajous, who played her final performance May 27.
Katrina Lenk has also been seen in iWitness at the Mark Taper Forum; Elemeno Pea, Cloudlands and Caucasian Chalk Circle at SouthCoast Repertory; the title role in Lovelace: A Rock Opera, for which she won LA Weekly and Garland awards; and her solo music project, moxy phinx.
The musical features music and lyrics by Grammy winners Bono and The Edge, direction by Philip William McKinley and a book co-written by Julie Taymor, Glen Berger and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. Scenic designer George Tsypin and costume designer Eiko Ishioka are winners of Outer Critics Circle Awards and were recently nominated for Tonys for their work on Spider-Man.
Spider-Man plays the Foxwoods Theatre, 213 West 42nd Street.
Conceived and directed by Stephen Sachs, the work follows an 18 year-old who turned in his father to the FBI via real-life public statements and court transcripts.
Jeff Cohen's autobiographical comedy centers on his eccentric father, Stan “Squeaky” Cohen, a man who was banned from every Old Country Buffet in metro Baltimore.
