At left, The Scarlet Pimpernel's Carolee Carmello and Les Miserables' Gregg Edelman attended the special pre-screening of the ABC television version of "Annie" with their four year old daughter Zoe. At right, Donna Murphy with her husband, actor Shawn Elliott. A private, star-packed world premiere screening of the new "Annie" took place Nov. 1 at the New Amsterdam Theatre on 42nd Street. A post screening gala followed at Roseland which was decorated to look like Warbucks mansion.

The new small-screen adaptation of the Broadway musical hit will air on ABC's "Wonderful World of Disney" 7 PM Nov. 7.
