Hannah Waddingham stars (as Desiree) opposite Maureen Lipman (Madame Armfeldt), Alex Hanson (Fredrik), Jessie Buckley (Anne), Gabriel Vick (Henrik), Kaisa Hammarlund (Petra) and Alistair Robins (Count Carl-Magnus). The ensemble also includes John Addison, Florence Andrews, Laura Armstrong, Lynden Edwards, Charlotte Page and Nicola Sloane. A Little Night Music features a score by Sondheim and a book by Wheeler.
"Based on Ingmar Bergman's film 'Smiles of a Summer Night,' A Little Night Music is set in turn-of-the-century Sweden where affairs of the heart are uppermost in everyone's thoughts," according to show notes.
