PlayBlog Osmonds Return to their Las Vegas Show, Following Family Tragedy Brother/sister duo Donny and Marie Osmond will resume their show at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino on March 9. Shows were canceled March 2-6, following the suicide of Marie’s 18-year-old son Michael in Los Angeles. They have also added five shows between April 13 and 17, according to the Associated Press.

 
Broadway fans will recognize both halves of the dynamic Osmond pair. Donny Osmond appeared on Broadway in Beauty and the Beast and Little Johnny Jones. Marie Osmond appeared in the 1996 Broadway revival of The King and I.
 
Donny and Marie are two of nine siblings who began performing in the 1960s as family music group The Osmonds.  In addition to pursuing solo careers, Donny and Marie have hosted two “Donny and Marie” variety shows, first in 1976 and again in 1998. Their show at the Flamingo opened on Sept. 9, 2008.
