The New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, NJ, will welcome Seth Rudetsky, Tony winner Roger Bart and Tony nominees Kerry Butler and Kevin Chamberlin in Broadway’s Best concert October 7. The four recently collaborated in Broadway’s Disaster! The Musical, written by Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick.
The evening will feature songs from Little Shop of Horrors, Hairspray, Mame, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and more. The concert will be recorded and broadcast on SiriusXM at a later date to be announced.
The concert joins NJPAC’s previously announced lineup of Betty Buckley (September 17), Savion Glover’s Chronology of a HooFer (October 8) and Michael Feinstein’s American Songbook at NJPAC (December 1 and 2), among others.
