Stage to Page Newfoundlanders Unite with Their Broadway Counterparts at Come From Away Opening Night The ensemble musical tells the story of travelers stranded on September 11, 2001.

Come From Away, the new musical that explores the lasting connection forged between a group of travelers whose planes were diverted to a small Newfoundland town during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, officially opened on Broadway March 12 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.

The musical makes its New York debut after playing try-outs at La Jolla Playhouse, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Ford’s Theatre in Washington D.C., and Toronto’s Royal Alexandra Theatre. Broadway previews began February 18.
