The Edinburgh Fringe is not just for international producers. Americans are getting in the fun, as well. The Off-Off Broadway theatre company The Barrow Group will bring its show LOST...FOUND written and performed by K. Lorrel Manning to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this summer, where it will run at Assembly Roxy Outside August 1-26.
Manning's show is an autobiographical story about a boy and his mother, navigating their way through trauma using Prince and God. It will be co-directed by Lee Brock and Christine Cirker. It previously ran earlier this year.
Said Manning in a statement: "LOST...FOUND has been a life-changing experience for me. Every single audience has been amazing! Every single show has been therapeutic on some level. I’m connected to the audience in a way that I never have been as a performer. It's been an honor to be able to share my story and have it resonate with so many different people."
Adds co-director Cirker, "This story and art form are proof that art heals! Experiencing this work will change you."
The Barrow Group previously brought its show 17 Minutes to last year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
