New York Stage and Film

New York Stage and Film (NYSAF) has announced the lineup for its winter season, which will be hosted at Marist College Manhattan as a part of their previously announced partnership. This season marks NYSAF's first lineup since their three year hiatus from NYC-based programming.

The brief season, which will run from February 27 to March 5, will begin the tenure of their 2023 companies-in-residence, which include Breaking the Binary Theatre, The Latiné Musical Theatre Lab, The Movement Theatre Company, and The Recovery Project.

On February 28, a Directors in Progress roundtable featuring Raja Feather Kelly and Nicole A. Watson will be curated and moderated by Dominique Rider, ahead of a new play reading March 2 of Jessica Huang's The Birth of the Pill. Directed by Jaki Bradley, the play explores the complex invention of pharmaceutical birth control.
