News New Musical About Tennessee Williams Will Be Performed in Concert A House of Glass will be performed at Feinstein’s/54 Below featuring a cast of Broadway actors.

A House of Glass: The Life of Tennessee Williams, a new musical about the life of the famed playwright behind The Glass Menagerie and A Streetcar Named Desire, will be performed in concert at Feinstein’s/54 Below September 12.

The 7 PM concert will feature Joshua Morgan (Les Miserables), Leah Horowitz (Follies, Les Miserables), Lawrence Clayton (The Color Purple, Les Miserables), Theresa McCarthy (First Daughter Suite, Titanic), Jelani Remy (The Lion King), Megan Kane (God’s Country) and Austin Colby (The Sound of Music).

According to Feinstein’s/54 Below, “Join a company of some of NYC’s finest talent for an evening of songs from A House of Glass, the story of America’s most iconic playwright– Tennessee Williams. After several successful outings in DC, including a sold out run as part of Arena Stage’s 2015 Kogod Cradle series, A House of Glass makes its NYC developmental debut!”

The musical features music by Paul Leavitt and a libretto and lyrics by Harriet McFaul Pilger and Shelley Herman Gillon.

The evening is directed and conceived by James Will McBride with musical direction by Alex LeFevre.
