Carl Forsman will direct the final show for troupe's season which began previews July 17 for a run through Sept. 2.

Penned by the author of The Flatted Fifth, this new "musical story of two songwriters facing their forties and failure - and the possibility of new love" will grace the boards for the Off-Broadway troupe. Everythings Turning Into Beautiful (the title's first word purposefully has no apostrophe) features songs by Jimmie James.

Rubin-Vega is remembered by musical fans as Rent's original Mimi — for which she earned a Tony Award nomination. She earned her next Tony nod for Anna in the Tropics. Seen in the films "Wild Things" and "Flawless," she has also played on stage in The Rocky Horror Show, Between Us, Fucking A, Two Sisters and a Piano and The House of Bernarda Alba.

The busy actress will next appear as Fantine in the upcoming return Broadway run of Les Miserables and is slated to star opposite her Anna co-star John Ortiz and Philip Seymour Hoffman in Bob Glaudini's Jack Goes Boating for the LAByrinth Theater Company.

Yoba — known for his role on television's "New York Undercover" and the film "Cool Runnings" — appeared on stage in His Woman His Wife and his own What's on the Hearts of Men. He founded The Malik Yoba National Theater Company and, in 2004, launched its first production Acoustic Chocolate. Other credits include "Copland," "Smoke," "Criminal" and TV roles on "Thief" and "Arrested Development." Rubin-Vega and Yoba replace the previously-announced stars (and New Group veterans) Annabella Sciorra (Roar) and Bobby Cannavale (Hurlyburly) in the two-hander. Both actors are busy with other projects.
