Urge for Going will run through April 17. Mansour is a member of The Public’s Emerging Writers Group.

According to the Public, "Jamila, a 17-year-old Palestinian girl growing up in a Lebanese refugee camp, is desperate to escape the small and impoverished world she calls home but her greatest source of inspiration, her father, may also prove to be her biggest obstacle."

The Public will also host an April 12 talk back, "Going Home: Israeli and Palestinian Homeland Narratives," which will include playwright Mansour, Dr. Bashir Abu-Manneh and Dr. Helga Tawil-Souri.

All Public LAB tickets are $15. Single tickets for Urge for Going go on sale Feb. 20. Phone (212) 967-7555 or visit PublicTheater.
