The New York premiere of Quiara Alegría Hudes and Erin McKeown’s new musical Miss You Like Hell has found its complete cast. With direction by Lear deBessonet (The Odyssey) and choreography by Danny Mefford (Fun Home), performances are set to begin in The Public’s Newman Theater March 20.
The story follows undocumented immigrant Beatriz (Daphne Rubin-Vega), on the road trip of a lifetime with her estranged 16-year old daughter, Olivia, played by Gizel Jiménez.

Newly announced for the production is Marinda Anderson, who joins Danny Bolero, Andrew Cristi, Latoya Edwards, Shawna M. Hamic, Marcus Paul James, David Patrick Kelly, and Michael Mulheren.
Miss You Like Hell features a book and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Hudes and music by singer-songwriter McKeown.
The show will officially open April 10 and is scheduled to play through May 6.
