Light Falls: Space, Time, and an Obsession of Einstein, a new theatre piece created by physicist and author Brian Greene and composer Jeff Beal, will be presented May 22 at 7 PM as part of the World Science Festival.
The production will feature Michael Winther (Fun Home, 33 Variations) as Albert Einstein, alongside Francesca Faridany (Manifest) and Brian Avers (American Son). They will be joined by violinist Joanna Kaczorowska.
The creative team includes director Scott Faris, design by 59 Productions, and Drew Dollaz. Tracy Day is executive producer.
Light Falls: Space, Time, and an Obsession of Einstein was created in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Einstein’s Theory of Relativity, “tracing the breakthrough moments, agonizing frustrations, and final emergence into the light as the world’s most intrepid scientific mind took on the universe.”
