Tap Dogs, the international smash dance revue will bark in Mexico City for the first time May 22-24 at the Teatro Alameda.

Created and choreographed by Dein Perry, Tap Dogs is a wholesale reinvention of tap for the 90's, in which Perry's experience as an industrial mechanic in Newcastle, Australia, is combined with the innovative designs by Nigel Triffitt and with the music composed by Andrew Wilkie. The result of this combination is a ninety-minute high-voltage rocking spectacular theatrical experience - part theatre, part dance, part rock concert, part party, part construction site.

Since its world-premiere at Sydney's Starfish Club in January 1995, Tap Dogs has been presented with great success in many cities, including London, Edinburgh, Montreal, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Seoul, New York and Milan among others. The show has also received several awards, including the 1996 Olivier Award for Best Choreography.

Tap Dogs will appear at the Teatro Alameda on May 22 at 9PM, May 23 at 5PM & 9PM, and May 24 at 4PM & 7:30PM. For tickets ($350-132 Mexican Pesos) call Boletel in Mexico City at (52-5) 422 2077.
