Broadway belter Karen Mason returns to Birdland December 11 at 7 PM with Christmas! Christmas! Christmas!
The Broadway favorite will perform a mix of holiday tunes and confessional monologues. Expect renditions of “Santa
Claus Is Coming to Town,” “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” and
more.
Barry Kleinbort directs the evening featuring music director Christopher Denny on piano and Tom Hubbard on bass.
Mason has appeared on Broadway in Mamma Mia!, Wonderland, Hairspray, and Sunset Boulevard, as well as in the U.S. tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Love Never Dies. The recipient of the 2019 MAC Lifetime Achievement Award, she has also performed at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, Feinstein’s/54 Below, The Drury Lane Oakbrook, and London's Royal Albert Hall. Her newest solo recording is titled Let the Music Play.
