Industry presentations of the new musical Golden will be held September 17-18.

Directed by co-creator Madsie Flynn, the cast will feature Jessi Kirtley (Operation Mincemeat), Cicily Daniels (Pirates! The Penzance Musical), Vishal Vaidya (Merrily We Roll Along), Nathan Salstone (Sweeney Todd), Charissa Hogeland (Disney's Frozen), Michael Di Liberto (Wicked), Major Attaway (Disney's Aladdin), Glori Dei Filippone (Becky Nurse of Salem), Will Gallacher (Public Works' As You Like It), Brian Golub (Jesus Christ Superstar 50th anniversary tour), Lauren Nicole Cipoletti (Stranger Things), Joy Suprano (Best Foot Forward), Max Cortezi (The Revisionist), Nathaniel Mahone (Fire Shut Up in My Bones), Milena J Comeau (The Outsiders), and Tsilala Brock (Suffs).

With music by John Hodges and Geordy Wells, lyrics by Hodges, Wells, and Dustin Sullivan, and a book by Flynn and Francesca Peppiatt with Whit Cook, Golden follows a group of storytellers attempting to share the classic fable Rumplestiltskin—only to discover themselves somewhere entirely (and wonderfully) else.

The presentations will also have choreography by Patrick O'Neill, music direction by Robert Frost, and stage management by Kara Kaufman.
