The world premiere of Sanaz Toossi's English will open at Atlantic Theatre Company's Linda Gross Theater Off-Broadway February 22, after beginning previews February 5. Co-produced with the Roundabout Theatre Company, the production is set to continue through March 13.
Directed by Knud Adams, English features Tala Ashe (The Prophane), Ava Lalezarzadeh, Pooya Mohseni, Marjan Neshat (Selling Kabul), and Hadi Tabbal (The Vagrant Trilogy).

English tells the story of a group of adults in Iran preparing for the TOEFL in an "English Only" classroom.
English features scenic design by Marsha Ginsberg, costumes by Enver Chakartash, lighting by Reza Behjat, sound design by Sinan Refik Zafar, and casting by Stephen Kopel. Alex Hajjar is the production stage manager.
