Tony winner Leslie Odom Jr., back on Broadway in the revival of Purlie Victorious, hosts the second installment of Broadway Forever, the series of free, pop-up concerts and community service
activations, October 15 at Lou Gehrig Plaza in the Bronx.
The concert, which begins at 11 AM, is scheduled to feature Tony winner Alex Newell (Shucked), Adam Pascal (Rent), Shoshana Bean (Waitress), Jessica Vosk (Wicked), Colin Donnell (The Shark Is Broken), Andrew Durand (Shucked), Lili Thomas (Chicago), and Ian Shaw (The Shark Is Broken) as well as current cast members from & Juliet (Veronica Otim), Harmony (Sean Bell, Danny Kornfeld, Zal Owen, Eric Peters, Blake Roman, and Steven Telsey), and Here Lies Love (Aaron Alcaraz and Jaygee Macapugay).
Volunteers can also gather at 9 AM to revitalize Joyce Kilmer Park and Franz Siegel Park in the South Bronx. To register for this volunteer event, click here.
NY Forever, in partnership with City National Bank, the New York City Department of Transportation, and 161st Street Business Improvement District present the series, produced and staged by 6W Entertainment, with additional support from New York Cares and the Times Square Alliance.
