The new film will also star Rent's Taye Diggs and Topher Grace.
"One Shot," according to the industry site, concerns "a failed performer-turned-stage manager (Grace) struggling to keep his latest show from imploding on opening night." Margherita has been cast in the role of Brandy, a "brassy resident chorus girl who makes a bet with the flamboyant Malcolm (Diggs) to see who’ll bed a hunky new cast member first."
As previously reported, Isaac Rentz will direct the indie film. Gerry De Leon and Greg Lisi penned the screenplay.
