Off-Broadway News LCT3’s Pass Over Extends Off-Broadway Run The play, starring Gabriel Ebert, Jon Michael Hill, and Namir Smallwood, opened June 18.

The critically acclaimed production of Pass Over at Lincoln Center Theater’s LCT3 has extended its Off-Broadway run.

The new play by Antoinette Nwandu, directed by Danya Taymor, has added four performances: a 2PM and 7PM performance on July 21 and 22. The production was originally scheduled to close July 15.

Tony winner Gabriel Ebert (Matilda), Tony nominee John Michael Hill (Superior Donuts), and Lucille Lortel nominee Namir Smallwood (Pipeline) star in this mashup of Waiting for Godot and the Exodus saga.

The world premiere Chicago production of the play, starring Hill, Julian Parker, and Ryan Hallahan at Steppenwolf Theatre, was filmed and adapted by director Spike Lee and competed at the Cannes Film Festival.
