Layla Khosh (Bull in a China Shop) will star as Nora in the world premiere of Abby Rosebrock’s comedy Dido of Idaho at Ensemble Studio Theatre, the story of a hard-drinking musicologist, who, after a heartache and hitting rock bottom, attempts to reconnect with her estranged, evangelical mother. Dalia Davi (Tía Julia y el Escribidor) will play her mother, Julie.

Performances will begin March 14 ahead of a March 22 opening night. The limited engagement is scheduled through April 8 in EST's mainstage theatre.
Completing the cast will be Rosebrock, Curran Connor (Kentucky), and Dawn McGee (Cora & Dave Are Getting Older). Mikhaela Mahony (Noise of the Future) directs.
The production will feature set design by Angelica Borrero (Taming of the Shrew), lighting design by Christina Watanabe (Daniel’s Husband), costume design by Audrey Nauman (Mope), and sound design by Almeda Beynon (Lou).
