News Laura Benanti, Jessie Mueller, Jeremy Jordan and Ramin Karimloo Will Be Miscast for MCC Theater MCC has announced an all-star lineup for their annual Miscast gala. It includes Emmy winner Uzo Aduba ("Orange is the New Black), Tony Award winners Laura Benanti, Linda Lavin and Jessie Mueller, Tony nominees Annaleigh Ashford, Christopher Fitzgerald, Joshua Henry, Jeremy Jordan and Ramin Karimloo; as well as stage and screen stars Cheyenne Jackson and Ana Gasteyer.

The benefit, which brings together theatre stars to perform songs from shows and roles in which they'd never be cast, will be held March 30 at The Hammerstein Ballroom. The event begins at 6:30 PM.

As previously reported, this year’s Miscast gala, will honor Emmy and Golden Globe nominated stage and screen actress Sarah Paulson and Tony Award-winning producer Fran Weissler.

Proceeds from Miscast 2015 will contribute to supporting MCC Theater’s mission to develop and produce work Off-Broadway, as well as its Youth Company and partnerships with New York City public high schools, and MCC’s literary development work with emerging playwrights.
