LA MIRADA, CA -- A Tuna Christmas, the yuletide sequel to the Broadway hit play Greater Tuna, will take center stage at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts Jan. 22-Feb. 7, 1999 presented by McCoy Rigby Entertainment.

The production team of Tom McCoy and Cathy Rigby, recent recipients of seventeen Drama-Logue awards for productions of Once on This Island and Peter Pan (and currently producing Peter Pan on Broadway), will present the original cast and co-creators Joe Sears and Jason Williams portraying two dozen characters from Texas' third smallest town..."where the Lion's Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies."

Sears and Williams have performed at the White House and on Broadway in the Tuna plays, and have toured for many years with these vehicles. Their current stop is at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center (Jan. 5-10, 1999) in Texas.

Greater Tuna was filmed for HBO and made Sears and Williams regulars on the talk-show circuit.
