The City Center Encores! staging of the Tony-nominated musical Urinetown is presented February 5–16 at the Manhattan venue.

With a score by Tony winners Mark Hollmann and Greg Kotis and a book by Kotis, Urinetown examines the darkest dilemmas of humanity, skewering everything from capitalism to environmental activism. It takes place in a town where, after a long draught, urinating comes with a fee.

The complete cast features Fisher as Bobby Strong, Settle as Penelope Pennywise, Stephanie Styles as Hope Cladwell, Rainn Wilson as Caldwell B. Cladwell, Christopher Fitzgerald as Officer Barrel, Greg Hildreth as Officer Lockstock, Tiffany Mann as Soupy Sue, Jenni Barber as Little Becky Two Shoes and Mrs. Millenium, Josh Breckenridge as Senator Fipp, Yeman Brown as Billy Boy Bill, Cahoon as Old Man Strong and Hot Blades Harry, Pearl Scarlett Gold as Little Sally, Jeff Hiller as Mr. McQueen, Daniel Quadrino as Robby the Stockfish, Myra Lucretia Taylor as Josephine Strong, and John Yi as Tiny Tom plus ensemble member Graham Rowat, who will also play Officer Lockstock February 14.

Teddy Bergman directs Urinetown with choreography by Mayte Natalio, scenic design by Clint Ramos, costume design by Sophia Choi, lighting design by Justin Townsend, sound design by Nevin Steinberg, and projection design by Peter Nigrini. Encores! Music Director Mary-Mitchell Campbell leads The Encores! Orchestra. Casting is by The TRC Company's Kevin Metzger-Timson.

Urinetown played 25 previews and 965 regular performances at Broadway's Henry Miller's Theatre between August 2001 and January 2004. The production was nominated for nine 2002 Tony Awards, winning three: Best Book of a Musical, Best Original Musical Score, and Best Direction of a Musical.

The 2025 Encores! series also includes Love Life (March 26–30), directed by Victoria Clark; and Wonderful Town (April 30–May 11), directed by Zhailon Levingston.
