News Kate Baldwin Will Offer Concert Series at Sheen Center with Special Guests Finian's Rainbow Tony nominee Kate Baldwin will celebrate the music of Michael John LaChiusa and Will Van Dyke in a two-night concert series at New York's Sheen Center.

The Kate Baldwin & Friends series will be offered at the downtown venue Feb. 28 at 7:30 PM and March 21 at 7:30 PM.

The February performance, entitled Welcome to My Party: Kate Baldwin & Friends Sing the Songs of Michael John LaChiusa, will feature musical direction by Mary-Mitchell Campbell, who will lead a five-piece band. Guest vocalists will include Alexander Gemignani, Katie Thompson and Allison Blackwell. Erin Ortman directs.

The March evening, entitled The Girl Who Stayed: Kate Baldwin & Friends Sing the Songs of Will Van Dyke, will also feature Matt Doyle and Jessica Vosk. The vocalists will be joined and led by Van Dyke and backed by his band, The Whiskey 5. Jeff Talbott directs.

Baldwin has also appeared in the Broadway productions of Big Fish, The Full Monty, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Wonderful Town; the Off-Broadway productions of Songbird, Jon and Jen (Drama Desk nomination) and Giant (Drama Desk nomination); as well as in concerts with the New York Pops, Encores! and the American Songbook series at Lincoln Center.
