Sanders will play the new captain of the Major Case Squad, who is the boss to Robert Goren (Vincent D'Onofrio) and Alexandra Eames (Kathryn Erbe). Mary Elizabeth Mastrontonio, Eric Bogosian and Jamey Sheridan have previously taken the captain's role on the show.
Sanders' stage appearances include Pygmalion on Broadway and Stuff Happens (Drama Desk Award), That Hopey Changey Thing, Twelfth Night and A Midsummer Night's Dream for the Public Theater. He has appeared on screen in "Revolutionary Road," "The Day After Tomorrow," "Picnic," "Tumbleweeds" and the upcoming "Green Lantern."
