James Levine to Appear on Charlie Rose April 12
Conductor James Levine will be a guest on the PBS talk show Charlie Rose tonight.
Levine, the longtime conductor of the Metropolitan Opera, is approaching the end of his much-discussed first season as music director of the Boston Symphony. A champion of new and American music, Levine led newly commissioned works by Milton Babbitt, John Harbison, and Charles Wuorinen at the BSO this season.
