The second trailer for Jake Gyllenhaal's upcoming thriller Ambulance was released on YouTube by Universal Pictures. The two minute action-packed video teases intense sequences between the movie's leads, Gyllenhaal and Emmy winner Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, as well as a few emotional moments. Directed by Michael Bay, Ambulance follows two adoptive siblings who decide to rob a bank to cover a family member's hospital bills. As the situation grows hostile, they steal an ambulance, taking an EMT and an injured police officer as hostages. The action flick is a remake of a 2005 Danish film and made its world premiere March 21 in France.
Eiza González, Garret Dillahunt, and Keir O'Donnell star alongside the two actors. It premieres theatrically April 8 and will stream on Peacock shortly following its release.
Gyllenhaal was last seen on the Broadway stage as Abe in Sea Wall/A Life which played Off-Broadway at The Public Theatre before moving to Broadway's Hudson Theatre. He also starred in as the title character in the revival of Sunday in the Park with George and was expected to be bring the role to West End before it was delayed indefinitely following the COVID-19 shutdown.

To promote his upcoming flick, the Tony nominee will be making his return to the SNL stage. He will host alongside musical guest Camila Cabello.
