Menzel and Diggs met while co-starring in the original production of Rent, recreating their original roles in the film version. The couple have also appeared together in Wicked (which earned Menzel a Tony Award) and Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party. Menzel is a recurring guest star on "Glee"; Diggs is a regular on "Private Practice."
