Audience members will get the chance to see some great theatre for $20 as the Off Broadway Alliance announced the return of 20at20, where 43 Off-Broadway shows will offer $20 rush tickets 20 minutes prior to curtain. The biannual event will run October 20–November 9 as previously announced.
The participating shows include: And Then We Were No More (La Mama), Art of Leaving (Pershing Square Signature Center), Crooked Cross (Theatre Row), Drunk Dracula (Ruby Theater), Exorcistic: The Rock Musical featuring a surprise Broadway guest diva at each performance (Asylum NYC), Friends! The Musical Parody (Theater Center), Gazillion Bubble Show (New World Stages), The Glitch (Theater Center), Gwyneth Goes Skiing (SoHo Playhouse), House of McQueen (The Mansion at Hudson Yards), Jamie Allan’s Amaze (New World Stages), Katsura Sunshine's Rakugo (New World Stages), Murdoch: The Final Interview (Theatre 555), Nona's Supper Club (Chelsea Table + Stage), Not Ready For Prime Time (MCC Theater Space), Nothing Like Broadway! (Marjorie S. Dean Little Theater), The Office! A Musical Parody (Theater Center), Pen Pals with a rotating cast including Marcia Cross, Pricilla Lopez, Paulette Washington and Catherine Curtain (DR2), Perfect Crime (Theater Center), The Pitch (Actors Temple Theatre), The Play That Goes Wrong (New World Stages), Pygmalion (Theatre Row), Queens (Manhattan Theatre Club at New York City Center), Richard II starring Michael Urie (Astor Place Theatre), Romy & Michele: The Musical starring Laura Bell Bundy and Kara Lindsay (Stage 42), Shake Rattle & Roll Dueling Pianos (Chelsea Table + Stage), Singfeld! Plus, cabaret enthusiasts can also get $20 tickets to the shows at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, which include: A Dream Needs Believing; Carey: The Emancipation of Mimi; Carol Baniewicz: Homeschooled Freak; Christina Blanco – Way Way Back; Jackie Cox is Evil Nurse Jackie; Joe Iconis Haunted Halloween Special; Justin Sargent’s Broadway Horror Show; Kiki Ball-Change: We’re in Hell; Liz Lieber: Back at the Beechman; Lorna Luft – Optimistic Voice; Shitzprobe!
