Hal Linden will headline In the Mood at Bucks County Playhouse April 23–27. The Tony and Emmy Award winner will appear as a special guest during the national touring production’s New Hope, Pennsylvania, engagement.

Featuring a big band orchestra and a company of singer-dancers, In the Mood features such songs as “Swingin’ on a Star,” “Tuxedo Junction,” “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy”,”Sing Sing Sing,” “Chattanooga Choo Choo,” “I’ll Be Seeing You,” and more. The 1940s revue is now in its 25th anniversary year.

Prior to his acting career—including a Tony-winning performance in Broadway's The Rothschilds—Linden got his start as a clarinet player and later toured as a singer with Sammy Kaye, Bobby Sherwood, and Boyd Raeburn. He is best known for starring on television’s Barney Miller, for which he earned seven consecutive Emmy nods. His additional stage appearances include Bells Are Ringing, Wildcat, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, I’m Not Rappaport, The Sisters Rosensweig, Cabaret, and The Gathering.
