Tony Award winner Bebe Neuwirth and Tony-nominated performer Brandon Victor Dixon announced the nominees for the 73rd annual Tony Awards at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center April 30. The Broadway stars were joined by journalist and CBS This Morning anchor Gayle King to reveal the newest crop of nominees.

The 2019 Tony Awards ceremony will take place at Radio City Music Hall June 9, hosted by James Corden.

Neuwirth earned Tony Awards for her performances in Chicago and Sweet Charity; she most recently appeared on Broadway in The Addams Family. She can currently be seen on CBS' Madam Secretary.
Dixon received Tony nominations for The Color Purple and Shuffle Along, and won as a producer on the revival of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Recently, the Hamilton alum has taken to bringing musical theatre to the small screen, appearing in NBC's Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert and Fox's Rent.
