Rehearsals are currently underway for the final production of the 2025 summer season at The Muny, the Tony-winning musical Jersey Boys.

Directed by Maggie Burrows with choreography by William Carlos Angulo and musical direction by conductor Paul Byssainthe Jr., the international hit will play the Missouri venue August 18-24.

Get a sneak peek at the production in the video above, which features Pablo David Laucerica, who will play Frankie Valli, performing "Can't Take My Eyes Off You." Laucerica, who was seen in the Wicked film as well as the first national tour of Dear Evan Hansen, will be part of the Broadway cast of the upcoming new musical The Queen of Versailles.

The Jersey Boys cast will also feature Ryan Vasquez as Tommy DeVito, Cory Jeacoma as Nick Massi, Andrew Poston as Bob Gaudio, John Leone as Gyp DeCarlo, and Shea Coffman as Bob Crewe with D’Marreon Alexander, Drew Battles, Kaley Bender, Tristen Buettel, Mike Cefalo, Matt Faucher, Stephanie Gomérez, Reina Guerra, Jimin Moon, Ben Nordstrom, Michael James Reed, Nevada Riley, Matt Rivera, Fernando Trinidad III, Noah Van Ess, and Jerry Vogel.

This musical explores the journey of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, uncovering the secrets behind their 40-year friendship as they rise from the streets of New Jersey to the heights of superstardom. The production features such chart-topping hits as “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” “Dawn,” and “My Eyes Adored You,” among others.

Jersey Boys opened in New York in November 2005, ending its 11-year run January 15, 2017, after 4,642 performances at the August Wilson Theatre. The musical won four 2006 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Jersey Boys also began an Off-Broadway run in November 2017 at New World Stages; that production closed May 22, 2022.

The upcoming production will also have scenic design by Krit Robinson, costume design by Leon Dobkowski, lighting design by Rob Denton, sound design by John Shivers and David Patridge, video design by Greg Emetaz and Kylee Loera, and wig design by Kelley Jordan. Matthew Lacey is the production stage manager.

The Muny artistic staff includes Artistic Director and Executive Producer Mike Isaacson, Associate Artistic Director Michael Baxter, Director of Production Tracy Utzmyers, and Music Supervisor Michael Horsley.

The Muny is currently presenting La Cage aux Folles through August 14.
