Get a first look at the Center Theatre Group production of Here Lies Love with brand new production photos in the gallery below. David Byrne and Fatboy Slim's musical—which most recently ran on Broadway in 2023—has already extended performances at the Los Angeles theatre, now running February 18 through April 5 at the Mark Taper Forum.

CTG Artistic Director Snehal Desai directs the immersive disco musical based on the real story of Filipino First Lady Imelda Marcos, whose husband, Ferdinand Marcos, was the 10th president of the Philippines and ruled as dictator for 20 years until 1986. The show officially opened on Broadway July 20, 2023 at the Broadway Theatre after beginning previews June 17, and closed November 26, 2023, after 33 previews and 149 regular performances.

The CTG staging features Reanne Acasio as Imelda Marcos, Joshua Dela Cruz as Aquino, Chris Renfro as Ferdinand Marcos, Carol Angeli as Estrella, Aura Mayari as Punong-Abala/Host, and Joan Almedilla as Aurora. The ensemble includes Steven-Adam Agdeppa, Kayla Amistad, Kelvin Co, Joanne Javien Coudriet, Audrey Lyn Crabaño, JeffLorenz Garrido, Sarah Kay, Garrick Goce Macatangay, Danielle Louise Mendoza, Justine Rafael, and Ryan Salazar. The swings are Zandi De Jesus, Johnisa Almariya Breault, and Hayden Rivas.

The production features choreography by William Carlos Angulo, music direction by Joe Cruz and Jennifer Lin, scenic design by Arnel Sancianco, costume design by Jaymee Ngernwichit, lighting design by Marcella Barbeau, sound design by Brian
Hsieh, projection design by Yee Eun Nam, hair, wig, and makeup design by Kaleena Jordan, associate direction by Janelle Dote Portman, associate choreography by U.J. Mangune, dramaturgy by Ely Sonny Orquiza, illusion consultation by Jim Steinmeyer, and casting by Michael Donovan Casting's Michael Donovan, Richie Ferris, and casting consultant Joe Pinzon. Giselle "G" Tongi-Walters is the community liaison, and Jill Gold serves as production stage manager.
