Get a first look at Pony Cam's Burnout Paradise with brand new production photos. The production has returned Off-Broadway for an extended engagement at the Astor Place Theatre. See the production photos in the gallery below.

Created and performed by the award-winning Australian theatre collective Pony Cam, the show will began previews February 18 and is set for an opening night on March 5. The limited engagement is scheduled to run through June 28.

The piece previously premiered in North America at Brooklyn's St. Ann’s Warehouse, kicking off St. Ann's 45th anniversary season.

In Burnout Paradise, Pony Cam welcomes audiences with a simple question: can the four performers complete a dizzying array of challenges while collectively running 20 kilometers on treadmills before their time runs out? The four runners carry out a variety of absurd activities, from preparing a three-course meal, to washing their hair, to reciting Hamlet’s soliloquy, to walking the dog and picking up its poop, to writing and submitting an arts grant, and more. If they fail (and, they often do) they offer the audience their money back. Originating in Australia, the Parrot Ox–produced production previously played the Edinburgh Fringe.

Burnout Paradise is performed by Claire Bird, Ava Campbell, William Strom, Dominic Weintraub, and Hugo Williams. The Astor Place production will feature scenic and video design by Jim Findlay (Measure for Measure) and Pony Cam, lighting design by Dans Maree Sheehan (Elevator Repair Service), and sound design by Tony winner Cody Spencer (The Outsiders). General Management is by Baseline Theatrical.
