News Foster, Cody, Cuccioli, Hoty and Groener Join Cape Playhouse Season Hunter Foster, Jennifer Cody, Robert Cuccioli, Dee Hoty and Harry Groener will be part of The Cape Playhouse's 81st season running June 18-Sept. 8.

The season begins with 2 Pianos, 4 Hands by Ted Dykstra and Richard Greenblatt, with direction by Tom Frey, starring Evans Haile and Andrew Gerle and running June 18-30.

Regrets Only written by Paul Rudnick, which was presented at Manhattan Theatre Club last year, will be directed by James Brennan and will star Hoty (Footloose), Eden Riegel (Susan Lucci's daughter in "All My Children," Les Misérables, Will Rogers Follies), Joel Higgins and Groener (Crazy For You), running July 2-14.

Thoroughly Modern Millie will star Terry Burrell (Broadway's The Threepenny Opera), Andrea Chamberlain (The Drowsy Chaperone) and Andrew Rannels (Hairspray). Mark Martino will direct, Denis Jones will choreograph and Phil Reno will serve as musical director for the show, which runs July 16-28.

Beehive, featuring over 40 hits from the 1960s and 70s, will be directed and choreographed by Mark Martino and run July 30-Aug. 11. Corpse!, a play by Gerald Moon, directed by Russell Treyz and starring Brent Harris and Brad Bellamy, will be directed by Russell Treyz and run Aug. 13-25.

The season concludes with Lend Me a Tenor by Ken Ludwig, directed by Pamela Hunt and starring Cody (The Pajama Game), Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde), Foster (Urinetown), Judy Blazer (LoveMusik), Jeff Brooks (Beauty and the Beast), Leah Hocking (Hairspray) and Virginia Seidel (Face The Music). The show runs Aug. 27-Sept. 8. The Cape Playhouse began in 1927 and touts itself as America's oldest professional summer theatre.
