News EXCLUSIVE: Track List Announced for Scott Alan's New CD Featuring Noll, Steggert, Sieber, De Haas A host of theatre favorites — including 2010 Tony nominees Christiane Noll and Bobby Steggert — will be heard on composer and lyricist Scott Alan's latest recording, "What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up," which is due Nov. 1.

"What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up" follows Alan's earlier studio recordings, "Dreaming Wide Awake" and "Keys."

Among the singing actors who lend their vocal talents to the new recording are Nikki Renee Daniels (Promises, Promises), Diana DeGarmo (Hair), Darius de Haas (Children of Eden), Cassie McIvor (Wicked – Japan), Crystal Monee Hall (Rent), Morgan James (The Addams Family), Patina Miller (West End's Sister Act), Christiane Noll (Ragtime), Laura Osnes (South Pacific), Zak Resnick (The Broadway Boys), Christopher Sieber (Shrek: The Musical), Bobby Steggert (Ragtime) and Willemijn Verkaik (Wicked – Germany).

Jesse Vargas is the arranger, orchestrator, conductor and co-producer of the CD.

TAKING BACK MY LIFE - sung by Patina Miller Scott Alan wrote the book, music and lyrics for the musical Detour, which was seen in Los Angeles. His current theatre projects include Piece, which was featured at the 2003 Palo Alto TheatreWorks festival, the 2005 NAMT festival and the 2007 Festival of New Musicals at Village Theatre; and the song cycle The Warmth of the Womb. He also produces the monthly Monday Nights, New Voices concert at the Duplex. Alan's music is available on his website, scottalan.net, and at iTunes.
