London News Emily-Mae Will Join Cast of London Hamilton

Lin-Manuel Miranda’s long-running West End hit will also welcome the return of Jay Perry to the Victoria Palace.

Emily-Mae, most recently seen as Nikki Marron in the U.K. and Ireland tour of The Bodyguard, will join the cast of the West End production of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton August 14.

The actor, also seen in Frozen, City of Angels, and The Producers, will step into the role of Angelica Schuyler at the Victoria Palace Theatre. That same day, Jay Perry (Back to the Future, Motown) will return to the role of Aaron Burr.

The London production of the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical also features Alex Sawyer as Alexander Hamilton, Nathania Ong as Eliza Hamilton, Simbi Akande as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds, Thomas Vernal as George Washington, Lemuel Knights as Marquis De Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson, Jordan Castle as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison, Jordan Benjamin as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton, and Joel Montague as King George III. At certain performances, the role of Alexander Hamilton is played by Adam J. Bernard.

The company is completed by Gabriela Acosta, Richard Appiah-Sarpong, Elizabeth Armstrong, Turrell Barrett-Wallace, Alishia-Marie Blake, Roxanne Couch, Nicola Espallardo, Remi Ferdinand, Manaia Glassey-Ohlson, Jack Harrison-Cooper, Amie Hibbert, Sam Holden, Barney Hudson, Nicolais-Andre Kerry, Christian Knight, Ella Kora, Aaron Lee Lambert, Jairus McClanahan, Stacey McGuire, Kerri Norville, Jamai Robinson, Samuel Sarpong-Broni, Hassun Sharif, and Paulo Teixeira.

Based on Ron Chernow's biography, Hamilton features a book, music, and lyrics by Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire.

The musical about Founding Father Alexander Hamilton also has scenic design by David Korins, costume design by Paul Tazewell, lighting design by Howell Binkley, sound design by Nevin Steinberg, and hair and wig design by Charles G. LaPointe.

The Tony-winning Hamilton, which continues on Broadway at the Richard Rogers Theatre, is produced in London by Jeffrey Seller, Sander Jacobs, Jill Furman, The Public Theater, and Cameron Mackintosh.

The musical is currently selling tickets in the West End through March 29, 2025.
