PBS station THIRTEEN will air the exclusive U.S. premiere of Phyllida Lloyd's acclaimed production of Julius Caesar on March 29, as part of the channel's Women's History Month programming. The all-female production, which sees the action of Shakespeare's classic play reset inside a women's prison, originally premiered at London's Donmar Warehouse in 2013.
Julius Caesar stars Tony nominee Harriet Walter (Mary Stuart) as Brutus, with Jackie Clune taking on the titular role of the ill-fated Roman demagogue and Jade Anouka starring as Caesar's right-hand Mark Antony. The broadcast is slated for 9 PM, March 29.
