Ain't Too Proud and Devil Wears Prada star Christian Thompson will dance through life as the newest Fiyero in the national tour of Wicked, joining the company beginning February 7 at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida.
Thompson will join alongside fellow new cast members Timothy Shew (Les Misérables) as The Wizard, Boise Holmes (Once On This Island) as Doctor Dillamond, Tara Kostmayer (Aladdin) as Nessarose, and Kyle McArthur (Superhero) as Boq.
The touring cast currently features Lissa deGuzman as Elphaba, Jennafer Newberry as Glinda, Natalie Venetia Belcon as Madame Morrible, John Bolton as The Wizard, Michael Genet as Doctor Dillamond, Kimberly Immanuel as Nessarose, Jordan Litz as Fiyero, and Jake Pedersen as Boq.
The company also includes Emily Kristen Morris, Alexia Acebo, Kyle Brown, Anthony Lee Bryant, Matt Densky, Marie Eife, Jenny Florkowski, Sara Gonzales, Chelsea Cree Goren, Kelly LaFarga, Marina Lazzaretto, Megan Loomis, Mattie Love, Ryan Mac, Tiffany Rae Mallari, Raymond Joel Matsamura, Brittany Marcell Monachino, David Scott Purdy, Jackie Raye, Rebecca Gans Reavis, Andy Richardson, Derek Schiesel, Wayne Schroder, Paul Schwensen, Ben Susak, Brion Marquis Watson, and Justin Wirick.
Since opening on Broadway October 30, 2003, Wicked has been performed in over 100 cities in 16 countries. In October 2019, the international hit musical surpassed Les Misérables to become the fifth longest-running production in Broadway history.

Wicked, with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman, is based on the novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire.
The Joe Mantello-helmed production features musical staging by Wayne Cilento, scenic design by Eugene Lee, costume design by Susan Hilferty, lighting design by Kenneth Posner, sound design by Tony Meola, projections by Elaine J. McCarthy, wig and hair design by Tom Watson, music supervision and arrangements by Stephen Oremus, orchestrations by William David Brohn, and dance arrangements by James Lynn Abbott. Casting is by the Telsey Office.
The musical, which reopened on Broadway September 14, 2021, following the pandemic shutdown, is produced by Marc Platt, Universal Stage Productions, The Araca Group, Jon B. Platt, and David Stone.
