Over 100 performances of musicals, plays, dances, and concerts will be offered at a discounted price to theatre-goers during the League of Chicago Theatre's seventh annual Chicago Theatre Week, presented February 7-17.
Among the offerings are Lucas Hnath's A Doll’s House, Part 2, which will be staged at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company during the entire run of theatre week, as well as the Star Wars-themed All Childish Things at First Folio Theatre.
Audiences looking for more pop culture-driven fare can see Mamma Mia! at the Drury Lane Theatre; Friends! The Musical Parody will mount two performances at the Broadway Playhouse as part of its U.S. tour.
The Goodman Theatre will have two productions running during Chicago Theatre Week: Twilight Bowl and How to Catch Creation. Meanwhile, classic arts fans can enjoy a Joffrey Ballet production of Anna Karenina. Over on University of Chicago's Hyde Park campus, Photograph 51 will play at the Court Theatre.
